About Nicky Hambleton-Jones
Five years as presenter of 10 Years Younger, the UK's leading makeover show, and the success of her own personal styling business have made Nicky Hambleton-Jones a household name, providing inspiration and motivation for millions of men and women UK-wide. As a top personal stylist and qualified Dietician, Nicky believes that everyone has the potential to look fantastic effortlessly.
Nicky moved to London in 1996 to start a career in marketing and management consulting. But as she describes in her third book, Top to Toe, she had the awful experience of being made redundant three times in two years. She was two weeks away from her thirtieth birthday with a CV that resembled an unfinished patchwork quilt. She had no job, no money and a mortgage that needed paying. Not to mention that her love life was an absolute disaster.
Nicky decided that a career change was well overdue. Having had a passion for fashion and style since a young age, she decided that it was high time to realise her dream and put her business skills to the test.
She launched personal styling business, Tramp2Vamp now re-branded as NHJ Style Consultancy. The business quickly went from strength to strength and, to date, has more than 5000 clients on its books, from across the UK and Europe. NHJ style Consultancy (previously Tramp2Vamp) also gave Nicky the vital contacts she needed to land a job as a prime time TV presenter.
Nicky is a qualified dietician and personal stylist, and she certainly knows what works. Her speciality is working with real people, and helping them to redefine the way they feel about themselves - her first port of call, their wardrobe!
Viewed as the UK's leading personal styling and lifestyle transformation expert, Nicky is also a popular speaker and is author of best selling books - 10 Years Younger, and 10 Years Younger Nutrition Bible. Her latest book Top to Toe was released in February 2008.
Nicky has a weekly makeover column in Reveal magazine - the celebrity magazine written by celebrities! She is the face of Transition Lenses and Clairol Root Touch Up, and is Style Adviser for Freemans catalogues.
Twice a year Nicky publishes her own magazine called At Home with Nicky Hambleton-Jones. The next edition is due out in Spring 2009.
Nicky has gained insight and experience on a number of different levels throughout her career, so whether you're looking for inspiration, motivation or a whole new you - Nicky believes that everyone has the potential to look 10 Years Younger- and one thing's for sure - she certainly knows how!
